Well it’s over 120 days since the country was put in to lockdown, I suppose we should be thankful we came through the other side, many didn’t and we should never forget that first and foremost.
For us and many like us, our businesses are not the same, and still today on the 3rd August some are still not open yet.
i have never really had a great interest in politics, but I’m thankful for the help and assistance that our current government has provided in the shape of grants, bounce back loans, staff furlough schemes and now the Eat out & Help Scheme – paying you to go out for dinner – who would have predicted that this time last year. Dinner on Boris – I’m just about to tuck into Panko Breaded Chicken, topped with Bacon, Cheese & Onion Rings — Thanks Big Yin.
Its a strange setting, half the tables, staff in masks, one way systems, hand sanitizers everywhere, cannot get in without booking in.
But you know what it’s a step in the right direction, you can look at the negatives if you wish, but like I said, be thankful your here, embrace it, many would gladly swap places.
We here at TheBuffetBoxCafe are lucky very lucky, we all made it through, our families made it through and our trade is almost back to 100%, so I for 1 I’m gonna support others, so my message is get out there have dinner on Boris (well 50% of it anyway). It is strange but this strangeness is here for a while yet, so embrace it.
Stay safe, Wash those hands, Keep your distance and thanks Alan & The Team.
